Welcome (back) to everyone! Sooooo looking forward to being back together and making lovely sounds!

We’ll start with a warm up and say hi to our new joiners.

I’m going to break with tradition and go straight in with a brand new song because I think we can nail this one is a session…. it’s in just three parts and the harmonies only come during the chorus.

First tea break – I’d like to see all of the new joiners just to make sure they’re not terrified. The rest of you can catch up with each other – it feels like ages since we last sang!

And I’d like to start Royals by Lorde. In contrast to Valerie, this has loads of harmony so we’ll take it really slowly and make some effort to teach the actual words which there are plenty of…

Might need a lie down after this and another little break……

We are singing at The Robin Hood Half Marathon on Sunday 24th September – and I REALLY need some more singers please…..even if you can only sing for some of it – half of it etc.

NEXT WEEK Monday 18th we still have about 3 spaces on the Fields of Gold Workshop – let me know if you’re interested or just register….

May we have a run through of Somewhere only we know ahead of the Christmas concerts (which will be upon us before we know it)
