Yes! It’s the most marvellous time of the year! You can join us for 4 weeks of singing some Christmas Classics with our Online Liberty Singers Choir and take part in our virtual recordings.
This year we’ll be re-invigorating some of our favourites – White winter Hymnal and 2000 Miles as well as starting some new from scratch – O Holy Night, Stay Another Day and Mary’s Boy Child. We’ll be choosing 2 to create virtual recordings with (these are optional but really great fun to be a part of)
For just £20 you can join our online Facebook community to keep up to date with singing news and chatter as well as the zoom links for joining the singing. We sing from 7.30-8.30pm on Mondays (30th November, 7,14 and 21 December) and there’s the option to catch up with audio recordings online if you miss the rehearsal. We learn harmonies together by ear so there’s no need or expectation to read sheet music. All singing has to be done on mute on zoom due to the time delay but the virtual recordings are a total triumph with singers following you tube conducting videos and recording themselves into their phones. The vocal parts are then mixed together in the studio and a new recording is born!
Our final evening of the year, Monday 21st will be a celebration of all we’ve achieved and may well include other Christmas Classics from our repertoire… but we CAN promise, there will be no Mariah Carey xxxxx
