Another lovely evening of splendid song!

We worked on the new warm up (Peace love strength and hope) which we have in 4 parts. This can be altered if you find any new harmonies that fit with it and there will be loads!

We worked on Human which is sounding fab, especially with all of the little changes and alterations we’ve been using. Viva la Vida was a rousing rendition as ever.

We had treasure at teatime! Massive congratulations to Margaret for bravely singing acapella ‘Slipping through my fingers’ for us.

Don’t shut me down just gets better and better. I was really nit picking on this but I think you’ll agree that it was worth it. I know I need to teach the second verse greens and blues again at the next session which I will.

Take me home country roads was lovely – I can hear us singing this as a last sort of Kari-oke songs at Portello one day!

We sang Uptown Girl with Billy Joel and I think this one is now heading for the Liberty song heaven along with September and Teardrops. We just can’t seem to get it started! If enough people fancy it I. can always run it as a standalone workshop.

We finished with Sweet Caroline and a lovely sing through of Yellow Brick Road xxxx
